You will safeguard clients and maintain secure access at a logistics and distribution location, delivering exceptional customer service while following site policies.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, patrolling grounds, and responding calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 (21+ for armed roles) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check & drug screen required by law; licensing may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and maintaining visitor and driver records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or communication equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report observed concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Policy Enforcement in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, greeting visitors, and supporting clear communication across the site. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
