Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time) in Murfreesboro, TN to protect client sites and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining logs and responding to incidents.

This role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of background checks and drug testing as required by law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials and manage visitor/contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents and access issues calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain logs and incident reports; communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and document arrivals, departures, and/or denied access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gate areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and communicate security‑related observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
