Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Security in Mount Juliet, TN. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $16.33 per hour and a schedule from Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

You will manage access at a logistics and distribution site, verify credentials, monitor gates, and provide excellent service. You will help deter unauthorized access, perform patrols, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and business perimeter, reporting concerns and unusual activity.
• Support movement of authorized employees, drivers, vendors, and guests while deterring unauthorized access and maintaining professional interactions.

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and help to control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
• Support the movement of authorized employees, drivers, vendors, and guests while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
