As a Security Officer Driver Identity Authorization in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Driving Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, driver, and contractor entry records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, entrances, and receiving areas, directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
