Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control at Mabelvale, AR. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity and patrol the site to deter incidents.

This full-time role offers a night shift schedule (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and a pay rate of $15.24 per hour. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a visible, professional presence on site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor or driver authorization, and maintain entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access to the facility, employee areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and other designated areas; report unauthorized access or unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements
