Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance Driver in Baytown, TX. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and perform routine patrols at a chemical/petrochemical site, with driving duties as required.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, eligibility for 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed), a high school diploma, and pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries entering or exiting the location; maintain accurate visitor and access logs.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access-control areas, parking locations, gates, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. • Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
