As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors and contractors, issuing access credentials as directed, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate with site representatives regarding deliveries and access requests, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, operational areas, and the perimeter; identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
