Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, process areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining required visitor and vehicle records.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
