Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Driver for a Seadrift, TX location. You will manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and assist visitors and employees while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to drive on site, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Customer service experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Seadrift, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with visitor and employee interactions. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating relevant information, and coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
