• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify authorized access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Assist with controlling access for delivery vehicles, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations when needed.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
