Allied Universal in Lewisberry, PA is hiring a Part Time Security Officer – Access Point Oversight. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain security for employees, visitors, and operations at a logistics location.

The role offers part-time hours with a pay rate of $18.43 per hour, weekend night shifts (Sat/Sun 10:00 PM–06:00 AM). You’ll deliver customer service, uphold safety procedures, and contribute to a secure environment while aligning with Allied Universal values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials and authorize access per site procedures.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and vendors; direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and vendors; direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
