Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer full-time Access Control Rover in Manassas, VA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service at a technology location.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, manage guest registration, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access issues, and security-related observations.

What You'll Do:
