Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Walworth, Wisconsin. You will guard client sites by monitoring entry points, verifying badges, managing visitor access, and delivering friendly, professional customer service at a busy food and beverage location.

You’ll use computer/tablet systems to document activity, respond calmly to incidents, coordinate with colleagues, and support security operations with teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Access control experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while supporting security-related operations.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
