Job summary

Allied Universal, Grannis, AR, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Access Control) to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service at a food & beverage production location. You will conduct routine patrols, support visitors and employees with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect badges, and assist with access-related questions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with food production facility entry requirements, including screening procedures and restricted-area access protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
