Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access-control procedures and monitoring site activity.
• Verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain access records.
• Screen deliveries and contractor access, coordinating with site contacts.
• Respond to access incidents calmly and escalate as needed.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming deliveries, vendor personnel, and contractor access as directed, and coordinate with site contacts regarding authorized arrivals and departures.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
