Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer on a full-time Access Control Desk in Coatesville, PA. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional presence to deter incidents.

You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers, respond to incidents calmly, and support a welcoming, orderly environment on site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and drivers while following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges and maintain access logs.
• Screen and document vehicles, materials and personnel per facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns, escalating per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to identify unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain access logs, and follow established procedures for deliveries and contractor access.
• Screen and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, materials, and personnel in accordance with facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned industrial facility areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
