Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time Access Systems role at a logistics location in Carlisle, PA. The officer will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access, and uphold a professional, welcoming presence while delivering strong customer service.

The position requires being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background checks and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery access records.
• Screen and direct authorized personnel, drivers, and vendors to designated areas while reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
