Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access in Summerville, SC. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites, conduct patrols, monitor entry points, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Full Time Accessin Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
