Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer - Facility Access for a Part Time schedule in Summerville, SC. The role focuses on customer service, patrols, access control, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment at a technology-focused site.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public responders when directed.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming workplace environment and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
