Job summary

Bally’s in Chicago, IL is seeking a Security Officer to oversee the casino's physical security and protect assets, guests, and staff. You will escort chips and cash per procedures, report incidents, and enforce policies to maintain a safe gaming environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents in a busy casino setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical security of the casino and company assets.
• Ensure the department adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports; report suspicious activity.
• Maintain guest safety and protect assets; enforce safety protocols.

• Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation
• Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures
• Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
• Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift.
• Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
