Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to uphold the Born to Entertain philosophy by maintaining a fun yet safe environment for guests and colleagues.

You will oversee physical security of casino assets, escort chips, cash, and table game drops, participate in incident reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and the IGB Self-Exclusion program.

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun, entertaining atmosphere while upholding Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy.
• Promote guest‑centric service and build long‑lasting guest relations.
• Oversee the physical security of the casino and company assets.
• Ensure the physical safety of guests, employees, and assets.
• Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports.
• Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per procedures.
• Report any criminal or suspicious activity promptly.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Communicate policy violations and regulatory requirements.
• Support activities related to the IGB Statewide Self-Exclusion Program.
• Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• E nthusiastically promote Bally ’ s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• O versee the physical security of the casino and company assets
• R esponsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets
• Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports
• Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation
• Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures
• Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
• Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation:

• Target salary: $22.50/hr

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift.
• Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
