Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer (Badge Audit) in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide a visible security presence, assist students and staff, and uphold campus policies across Education settings.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare clear incident reports. This role offers flexible hours, the opportunity to explore new shifts via our platform, and growth

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and campus stakeholders.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

• Mon 06:15 AM - 02:45 PM
• Tue 06:15 AM - 02:45 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
