As an Access Control Officer, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting visitors, residents, and staff with exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering the location.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and access records in accordance with site-specific procedures; communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
