Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will verify visitor access, monitor entry points, respond to security concerns, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Position Type: Full Time with a fixed night schedule. Pay rate: $17.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Security Guard Card is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor residential entry points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor activity.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access by checking credentials and issuing passes.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct patrols of common areas, parking, and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a residential community, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access by checking credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, and communicating entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
