As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Coordination in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, data infrastructure areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and restricted-area entry in accordance with site policies; report access issues and unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
