Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA to protect clients across various sites, perform rounds, and deter incidents with professional, customer-focused service.

You will document observations, coordinate with site teams, and respond to incidents while upholding Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring and integrity. This is a full-time opportunity with daytime/night shifts.

Qualifications

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech campus or logistics location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking lots, and perimeter points; document observations and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems, including badge entry, visitor check-in, and CCTV; help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation; communicate clearly with client staff, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership to support site operations.

As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a leading tech location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm professionalism.
