Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional to support access control, visitor management, and site safety at our Lincoln, NE location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities include patrolling entrances and perimeters, documenting incidents, and escalating concerns per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas and activity of contractors and deliveries.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and facility perimeter; note that conditions may vary by location.

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, food production location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas, contractor and delivery activity, and compliance with entry requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
