Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and using computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, food production location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring restricted areas, contractor and delivery activity, and compliance with entry requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
