Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees following site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and documenting entries.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain logs and incident reports and communicate with site personnel and leadership.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry, verify badges and credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will use computer-based systems, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly while helping to deter unauthorized access. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following established access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
