Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for badge verification in Crete, NE. You will support access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide customer service to employees and visitors in a food/beverage environment.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age, and a background check.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while performing access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas, facility perimeter, parking, and receiving locations.
• Support food and beverage production environments by following access requirements for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, the facility perimeter, parking areas, and receiving locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support a controlled food and beverage production environment by following facility access requirements for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
