Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Screener in Ontario, CA to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts. The pay rate is $21.89 per hour and the schedule includes固定 shifts with opportunities to earn more through the pickup program.

Responsibilities include screening employees, visitors, and shipments, enforcing access-control protocols, and responding to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and shipments in accordance with access-control and screening protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect items as directed, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter, documenting observations and incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Screener in Ontario, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
