Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Inspector for our Ontario, CA location. You will safeguard clients across multiple industries by screening people, packages, and vehicles, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns.

This driving role requires a valid license and professional customer service as a core responsibility. The position is full-time with daytime shifts and a focus on deterrence, incident response, and collaboration with site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and freight entering or exiting the location in accordance with established screening protocols.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of personal items, vehicles, and shipments as authorized by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Inspector in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or vehicles, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and work collaboratively with site teams. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. At Allied Universal, you will contribute with integrity, reliability, and care.
