Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Arrival Screening in Ontario, CA. You will screen personnel, visitors, and materials to maintain a secure environment while delivering professional customer service in a logistics facility setting.

This full-time role offers an hourly pay rate of $21.89 and a schedule that includes DayTime shifts. You will operate at screening points, monitor access, and respond to incidents in line with site procedures, contributing to a safe, reliable workplace.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the job location’s state.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Background history considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and personal property according to policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report unauthorized access or irregular activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and facility per location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Arrival Screening in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access screening requirements.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and personal property in accordance with established logistics facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
