Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Operations in Ontario, CA. You will safeguard clients by screening people and property, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns, while delivering professional customer service and upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

This is a full-time, driving position with a pay rate of $21.89 per hour and a rotating night schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues.

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and property, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do:

• At least two years of security-related experience.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
