Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time unarmed position in Valencia, CA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts to earn more, and a Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM schedule.

Responsibilities include customer service at a logistics site, incident response, patrols, access control, and documenting observations for site leadership. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and valid driver’s license where needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, package or shipment-related concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Valencia, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
