You will provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be required as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other campus community members while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, directing individuals to appropriate offices or areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
