Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer College Facility Patrol Risk Assessor in New York, NY. You will provide student and staff protection, perform unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible security presence across campus facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of background checks and drug screening, and a valid driver’s license for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic spaces, residence areas, grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated personnel.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:
