You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to security concerns while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and property management by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the commercial real estate property by verifying authorized entry, maintaining visitor records, and directing guests and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
