Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at a Sparrows Point distribution center in Maryland. The role focuses on morning patrols, monitoring access, and delivering exceptional customer service at a technology-focused site.

You will perform patrols, verify credentials, document incidents, and respond to alarms or emergencies while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strict adherence to policies and a strong safety mindset.

Formación

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology and media environment.

As a Security Officer Distribution Center Morning Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
