As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credentialing in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials as authorized, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident documentation related to visitor activity, deliveries, access-control equipment, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report hazards, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
