Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and badge verification, assisting with visitor directions and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and daily activity logs of patrols, incidents, and observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, visitor directions, and escalation of access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
