Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Operations in Aurora, IL. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, and coordinate security-related communications and incident responses on a dynamic retail/mall site.

The role requires monitoring of systems and logs, handling calls, and supporting patrols to deter unauthorized access.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor security-related systems, communications channels, and access activity, documenting events and maintaining accurate dispatch logs.
• Support security-related operations throughout the retail and mall location by communicating patrol needs, reporting unusual activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic retail and mall location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, and support timely response to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate records, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a welcoming environment for visitors and team members. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
