Job summary

Allied Universal in Aurora, IL is hiring for a Security Officer Dispatch Operations. You will serve clients across Retail/Malls, coordinating communications, monitoring information, and supporting timely responses to security incidents in a dynamic mall setting. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour. Schedule includes day time Thursday through Sunday shifts. You will maintain dispatch logs and provide excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for

• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor security-related systems, communications channels, and access activity, documenting events and maintaining accurate dispatch logs.
• Support security-related operations throughout the retail and mall location by communicating patrol needs, reporting unusual activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
