Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Aurora, IL for dispatch coordination at a retail/mall location. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and dispatch staff to incidents, while maintaining logs and providing strong customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and may require CPR certification. Work hours include day shifts with a four-day pattern; driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications systems, receive calls for service, document incidents, and dispatch appropriate personnel to locations throughout the facility and surrounding property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of dispatch activity, alarms, access-related concerns, and other security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and perimeter, as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Coordination in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a retail and mall location, you will coordinate communications, monitor security-related activity, and support response efforts across the property. You will help maintain clear, timely information flow, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a welcoming environment.
