Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Oakland, IA to safeguard clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include controlling access, conducting patrols, and coordinating with vendors while following security policies and driving policy requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).

• Monitor access points, verify IDs/authorization, maintain visitor/contractor records, direct authorized individuals.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry/exit per site procedures, screen deliveries and coordinate access for vendors/contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; report observations through established channels.
• Conduct patrols of access points, business areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Oakland, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, complete security-related documentation, and may operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, including screening deliveries and coordinating access for vendors and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
