Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue passes, and maintain logs.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity. Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures, reporting discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
