Allied Universal in Fremont, CA is seeking a Security Officer Access Credential Validation to monitor and protect automotive manufacturing locations. You will supervise access points, patrol production areas, and respond to incidents with professional, customer-focused service.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of security experience, strong observation skills, and the ability to follow site-specific procedures. CPR certification is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as per law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of production and parking areas and facility perimeter.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, and relevant incidents.
• Report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions to site leadership and/or the appropriate Allied Universal supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
