Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Oakland, IA to protect facilities and support client operations. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

The position is full-time, pays $18.52 per hour, with day shifts on weekdays and weekends as listed. You will complete security documentation, respond to incidents, and join a team that values integrity,

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.

• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit in accordance with site procedures, including screening deliveries and coordinating access for vendors and contractors.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations through established channels.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
