Allied Universal and its Corpus Christi location are seeking a Security Officer Access Verification Driver to safeguard clients across industries including chemical/petrochemical locations. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a TSA TWIC, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of security experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and control access to restricted areas.

• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Verification Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. This driving position involves maintaining a visible presence, communicating observations, and helping to deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
