Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Gregory, TX. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors while documenting security activities using site technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor access records, and report access discrepancies through established procedures.
• Operate access-control systems, issue and retrieve badges or credentials as authorized, and support controlled access to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Gregory, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and document security-related activity using site technology. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
